ESCALATE is a strategic partnership comprised by 6 partners from 5 different European countries: Exeter and Stirling in the West, Bilbao and Milan in the South, Magdeburg in the Centre and Timisoara in the East.

The project has been developed by six partners from five European countries, namely five universities and an independent company, which specializes on foresight and prospective - strategic studies for the public and private.

The official start of the ESCALATE project is 01.11.2019 and it is a 24-months project with the end date being 31.10.2021.

The Project

COORDINATED HIGHER INSTITUTIONS RESPONSES TO DIGITALISATION

The project brings together the right mix of university responsibles, educators/teachers, learners, labour market experts, alongside business and local government to offer a coordinated response to the challenges arising from digitalization. The aim of the project is to assist universities in implementing activities designed to increase the levels of digital competences for employability, upskilling, according with a growing range of employment generated by the digital economy, aligned with the needs of and opportunities offered by the labour market and linked to professional profiles.
